Busy suburban community pub in a prominent position at a major crossroads. Built in Arts and Crafts style but modernised in recent years, it has retained original features including wood panelling in the public bar and two red-brick fireplaces. Four regular beers and one guest are served, all from the Marstons stable. During the summer months a changing guest cider is also available on handpump. The pub has a traditional skittle alley.
